The Advisory Board of the Institute for Experiential Learning plays a vital role in shaping the vision, integrity, and impact of our work. Composed of thought leaders, practitioners, and educators from diverse industries and disciplines, the Advisory Board offers strategic guidance and fresh perspectives that help us stay at the forefront of experiential learning and adult development.
Members of the Advisory Board serve as trusted partners and advocates, contributing their expertise to strengthen our programs, expand our reach, and ensure we remain responsive to the evolving needs of learners, organizations, and communities.
By bridging theory and practice, our Advisory Board helps us deliver on our mission: to deepen learning, foster personal and professional growth, and activate the full potential of individuals and organizations through experiential methods.

Loretta L. Donovan, President, iAttain
The former Chief Learning Officer for the Health Quest System (merged with Nuvance), which is now a Northwell affiliate, Loretta led Learning & Talent Development and oversaw Executive, Management and Employee Development, Nursing Education, and Performance Management. Earlier, she was the Director of Organization Development and Learning for St. Francis Hospital – Heart Center, Roslyn, New York where she chaired the Service Excellence Steering Committee and achieved Best Place to Work in Healthcare recognition for the hospital. Loretta has been an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University Teachers College, and New York University where she taught courses in workplace and organizational learning. She is a guest editor for the Journal of Patient Experience, and an associate editor the Institute of Coaching, Harvard/McLean Hospital’s eHandbook of Coaching & Leadership. She has served as co-chair of the Innovation Expedition in Healthcare Summit for Healthcare, Physician and Nursing Executives, and as a Trustee of the Anderson Center for Autism.
