Learn to use all four learning modes in your teaching, playing multiple roles to better reach your learner

Becom­ing an expe­ri­en­tial edu­ca­tor involves hon­or­ing the full cycle of expe­ri­en­tial learn­ing by play­ing mul­ti­ple roles in the learn­ing process.

High­ly effec­tive edu­ca­tors do not rely sole­ly on one role.  Rather, they orga­nize their edu­ca­tion­al activ­i­ties in such a man­ner that they address all four learn­ing modes—Experiencing, Reflect­ing, Think­ing and Act­ing. As they do this, they lead learn­ers around the cycle, shift­ing the role they play depend­ing on the stage of the cycle they are addressing.

How It Works

This course is designed using project-based learn­ing prin­ci­ples. As you work through the course con­tent you will step through the process of deliv­er­ing a cur­rent course you teach or edu­cat­ing a learn­er around the entire learn­ing cycle. At each stage of the process you will receive feed­back from expe­ri­en­tial educators.

When you fin­ish the course and com­plete your expe­ri­en­tial edu­ca­tion deliv­ery, you’ll earn a dig­i­tal credential.
