Diane Laney Fitzpatrick is a digital media marketing specialist, writer, author and blogger. Her company, Digital Content and Services, helps small businesses grow into social and digital media with a DIY approach, with customized strategies and schedules. She recently published Digital and Social Media Guide for Small Businesses available on Amazon.
A graduate of Kent State University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She was a reporter for daily newspapers in Ohio, an editor for Sun Newspapers in Cleveland, and a freelance writer and editor for numerous print and online publications. Diane is a member of KSU’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s Professional Advisory Team. In 2016, she received the school’s William D. Taylor Award for Journalism Alumnus of the Year.
A longtime humor blogger, Diane is the author of two humor books, Home Sweet Homes: How Bundt Cakes,Bubble Wrap, and My Accent Helped Me Survive Nine Moves and Great-Grandma Is on Twitter and Other Signs the Rapture Is Near.
