Kate Crawshaw

Kate Crawshaw is an experiential learning designer and facilitator and Chief Experience Officer at Serious Woo, an experiential learning company based in Melbourne, Australia. She works with organisations to develop learning cultures through an experiential learning lens that foster growth and manage risk. She is on a mission to support leaders to hold better conversations at work, so they can create supportive, psychologically safe environments for their teams to thrive and innovate.

Her career has focused on the development of change and learning programs in both organisational and consulting environments including; British Sky Broadcasting, WSP Global, British Telecom, Australian Federal Department of Health and Ageing, ANZ Private Bank, Asahi Beverages, Victoria Police and Minter Ellison Lawyers. She has also worked as a lecturer for Toulouse Business School and the European Communication School.

Throughout her career, she has been frustrated by the lack of “stickiness” and ROI of corporate change and learning initiatives and is forever grateful to be introduced to the power of experiential learning. She firmly believes that experiential learning is the bridge to purposeful learner driven development and change. Kate is passionate about the creative power of robust communities whether in or outside the workplace and is involved in various visual arts and theatre projects in her home in the mountains in Victoria, Australia.
