Sarah Taylor

Director of Finance

Sarah Tay­lor joined the Insti­tute for Expe­ri­en­tial Learn­ing as Finance Direc­tor in 2019. Her pre­vi­ous career roles have includ­ed pub­lic account­ing with Ernst & Young, Assis­tant Con­troller with a real estate devel­op­er, and Con­troller of the Cleve­land Indi­ans Base­ball Com­pa­ny. Sarah has also held lead­er­ship roles in a num­ber of non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions includ­ing Rain­bow Babies and Children’s Hos­pi­tal, The First Tee of Cleve­land, and Wake For­est Uni­ver­si­ty Alum­ni Association.

Sarah grad­u­at­ed from Wake For­est Uni­ver­si­ty with a bach­e­lor of sci­ence degree in Account­ing and obtained her CPA cer­tifi­cate. She enjoys apply­ing her finance knowl­edge from large orga­ni­za­tions to a small grow­ing organization.

Sarah’s rela­tion­ship with the Insti­tute stems from a long time friend­ship with Kay Peter­son that was devel­oped on non-prof­it boards, trav­el­ing and on the golf course.
